Victor Alves presenting at the 2024 Northeast Conference

Thank You to the Massachusetts Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers

Speaking at the “2024 Northeast ASC Conference” is always a great time. A special thank you to MAASC President, Greg DeConciliis for the invitation to participate.

My presentation focused on current topics in medication management, including patient safety, safe injection practices and controlled substances. As always, the most rewarding part of the conference was seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Continuing education is important as our field is always changing and best practices evolve. It was inspiring to learn from other experts about survey readiness, infection control, cybersecurity, and even tips from a litigation attorney regarding depositions. It’s never too early to put the conference on your schedule for next year!

Congratulations to the Association for a great conference and offering their members exceptional educational opportunities.
