My life goal has always been to help people. I didn’t always know how, but I always knew the goal: to help others.
As a kid, I thought my “how” would be to become a pilot. My father served in the Navy and had instilled in me a love of service that worked in tandem with my passion for science. In pursuit of my dream, I enrolled in flight lessons, where I found myself under the “wing” of a pharmacist-turned-pilot. While learning the basics of aerodynamics, I was simultaneously gaining insight into the fascinating practice of pharmacy. Within a few lessons, I had found my true calling, and it wasn’t aviation. That’s not as big of a stretch as it may seem; aviation and pharmacy require a love of science, discipline, and a desire to help others.
Maybe it’s the pilot talking, but I simply found another route to navigate to my goal of public service.
In my initial years of clinical practice, I quickly realized where I could put my passion of service to work: filling a key gap in patient-focused pharmacy consulting.
Before OctariusRX, few companies were providing comprehensive pharmacy consulting services completely focused on the patient. We identified this critical, unmet need among facilities and patients, and piloted our way to serving their needs.
In the apothecaries’ system, octarius signifies a pint – a critical unit of measurement.
Today, OctariusRx strives to be that critical standard by which all other consultant pharmacists are measured.

Our dedicated and experienced professionals strive to improve quality of care while maintaining the high standards of those we serve. Where our mission will take us, we can’t say for certain.
