I want to share an update on what proactive steps OctariusRx is taking to keep our customers and our people safe while continuing to provide the exceptional services you rely on. These are unprecedented times and coronavirus (COVID-19) is having a dramatic impact on our lives and on many businesses. We want all our customers and patients to know we have a business continuity plan in place and will continue to provide all the services you are accustomed to.
As conditions evolve, we are taking precautionary actions to mitigate exposure and reduce the impact of COVID-19 on our customers and team members. We remain committed to providing safe and reliable service to our customers and patients, and we are doing our part to protect those we serve.
OctariusRx is following the guidance of global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are reminding all our team members about frequent hand washing, use of use of hand sanitizer, social distancing and regularly cleaning and disinfecting equipment. Importantly, we are asking all team members who feel sick to stay home from work.
From a service standpoint, we continue to be here for you 24/7. We are checking in with each facility or patient prior to their next scheduled visit. We will make decisions collaboratively on how to proceed on a case by case basis. We will be performing as many tasks as possible remotely. Facility visits are still being made (upon mutual agreement). However, private patient visits will be conducted virtually through video conference or telephone (This option is also available to all our facilities).
This situation is extremely fluid, and we continue to update our practices based on state and federal guidance, as conditions warrant.
